drill holes in plastic tub or use pond basket  
 
mark center of plastic tub on plastic shoe box
 
use a compass to mark outline of plastic tub
     
 
cut hole in plastic shoe box
     
       
the lip of the plastic tub should sit on the plastic shoe box (water reservoir)
     
       
drill hole in side of shoe box (water reservoir)      
     
       
two fitting that i used for the drain tube      
     
     
here is how the assembly should look  
   
     
mark the height of the drain tube on the main container  
   
     
drill hole in container  
   
     
add tubing from fitting and out the hole in the container  
   
     
drill a hole in the lid for the fill tube  
   
     
run the fill tube through the hole and into the shoe box  
   
     
add holes for the plants  
   
     
add dirt and plants / fill the water reservoir using the fill tube
